Happy Birthday :)

Hmm, so here I talk about my birthday blast!
08-08-2008, Ayushi’s 20th b-day. A great celebration after her teenage. The most special thing about this birthday was it was with friends. I never celebrated my birthday with friends who are exactly my friends, but this time luckily I had my FRIENDS with me now to celebrate my bday. Otherwise I had great bdays with my family. I never had great friends, with whom I can think of being together always.
The bday was being planned by my best man Ishant. He was into planning my birthday one week before only. Rest of the people just joined the idea. The thing was, after my 19th birthday I was fed up of the people whom I concerned as my friends. They made my bday hell. So this time, I told the list of people who care for me actually to Ishant (since he was the planner). But one day before my bday I asked him the whole plan cause I could feel it that he wants to come to my house to give me a surprise, but I have to see the situations at home, whether its pleasant for a surprise or not. Then I knew the whole plan that my friends Sakshi, Gaurav & Ishant will pop up in morning with a special cake for me. Just for cutting cake at my home so that my family is lot left out for the cake cut. After that we’ll go wherever I wish to go. I was then happy n lot excited about my birthday. So it was a planned bday surprise.
Now, it was 08-08-2008. The day started greatly. I messaged Ishant, “all fine, you guys may come after 8 am”. He replied then “dad scolding me, won’t be able to come, so sorry talk to you later, he is scolding”. My face turned red soon. Not in anger but in depression of seeing my bday plan almost buried. Then I called Gaurav, he was in metro n told me that he is going to college (again out of plan), in fact he was like unknown to this plan completely. Then to confirm again, I called Sakshi, telling her “hi! Aaj mera bday hai, tune mujhe wish nahi kiya?” she said, “oh! Happy birthday”. Then I asked her “you guys were coming to my place na, then kab aoge (almost making a fool out of myself)” she replied “nahi, Ishant ne to humein aisa kuch nahi kaha, to hum kyun aenge” I said, “ok. Will talk to you in sometime”. I was then roaming here and there in my house, ma asking me “kya hua hai, idhar udhar kya ghum rahi hai, ja tayar ho ja”. I was almost in the state of a loud cry coz my mind got disturbed thinking “now how will I celebrate my bday n with whom?” “I already told mum that my friends will come to take me out around 10 am and now I see no ray of hope”. Just then my door bell ringed, ting-tong, I saw Ishant & Sakshi standing out. I was now shocked (to see them) +happy (to have them) +angry (about the crappy joke that Ishant played over me). My mom was shocked to see them too, coz it was a surprise for her too. I was so juggled up in my mixed emotions that I didn’t even ask them for water, rather I was speechless. But I must appreciate the way Ishant made it a surprise bday blast again. Mum asked to me to go n have a bath now at least. I rushed to the bathroom. Put on my trendy clothes and got ready. I then asked them what about Gaurav? They said he is not coming. I felt a bit sad, but then appreciated that at least 2 of them were there. They then asked me to open my refrigerator. I got my cake ‘S’ there and a huge Pepsi bottle too. I went mad with happiness. It was just the way I imagined birthday once upon a time. N then came my another surprise – Gaurav n Shivani (late lateef). My mum felt great that I have some true friends. Now I took out a wrapped cake n kept it on the table. It was made by Sakshi. I couldn’t believe she could make a cake for me. I felt really great inside. I thanked her heartily. Then the candles were lit up and all mobile cameras on n my digi cam also were on to record Ayushi’s bday celebration. The cake was awesome n nutritious. I had never tasted a cake like this before, it was delicious greatly. We all ate it with Pepsi as our drink and saved some. Then Ishant commanded to take out another cake, which was brought by him, another chocolate cake, dark chocolate one. It was even delicious n I loved Ishant for keeping in mind my choice. Now this cake was for my face massage. My buddies attacked on me with good chunks of cake (during all this my mom was busy clicking pictures with very bad camera angles; I got to know this later). I was now settled up with my mixed emotions. My mum made tastiest suji ka halwa for all of us. She regretted she couldn’t make something more for treat for all. But then I said, “we are going out so koi ni”. Then we moved out in Ishant’s car to North Square Mall at pitam pura only. We then decided to watch Singh Is King, but the show was houseful, so another option left to us was Ugli Aur Pagli. We enjoyed the movie. People said it isn’t worth watching but as one-time-movie it was cool. We had dim sums :). I love them. Then after that we explored the mall, n we then stopped at Nirulas. We had jashn mana le meal, hot chocolate fudge (yummmmmm) and tooty-fruity. We clicked pictures, gossiped, did lolz. After that we planned to move back. By the way Ishant also got me 5 anklets (this accessory was the only missing thing in my accessory box). I told all my outside enjoyment to ma when I was dropped back to my home. Later with my mum n bro I went to Sai Baba temple, I thanked my lord for giving me so much happiness. N then we had fine dine at Sagar Ratna. By the way, mom gifted me a cutie little purse, a key ring, a laughing Buddha’s idol, a bracelet. I loved them all. And yep, a sweet greeting too. This was from mum’s side, my bro gave me a show piece which was brother sister sitting on a stone and studying. I love my mum, my bro, my Ishant, my Sakshi, my Gaurav n my Shivani (even though we fight maximum, hehe).

Girls day out: Saturday Day

Girls day out: Saturday Day
Yeah, it’s Saturday Day because generally people have a blast at Saturday nights but I enjoyed my Saturday Day (18 October 2008). Generally we have an off on Saturday of our college, but today we had one lecture of Event Management, huh, our college is getting highly unorganized. For an extensive subject we have only one lecture in a whole week, n that too on a day when the college should be off. The motive of this big bore lecture, the ultimate goal of the lecturer was to feed it in our minds that “Event is better than Journalism”. Journalists, if got to know this will surely first file a story against this man. Anyway, after 2 hours we were awaken, back to our masti time. I was in no mood to go home, but my best friend was not free for a hang out with me, busy in his BBA studies. So, one of my batch mates, Rashi, who was in the same mood, tied up with me to hang out. But we were out of money, like say just hundred bucks in our wallet. In this situation, according to me it’s always better to move to CP. So, we left from the college and stood at bus stand for more than 20 minutes, then a bit loaded BRT no.522 came and we struggled to get in, we were looking for seats in the rushy bus. In the bus, while we were standing, Rashi’s huge bag was almost going to hit a thin man’s thin face:). I noticed this and told about the same to Rashi, she giggled and moved back her bag. Soon we got seat for ourselves and we began with our gossips. In 45 minutes or 1 hour exactly we reached Jan path. Now, where to go in CP? I haven’t explored CP well, so I asked her about some place that she finds nice as she has explored each n every corner of CP with her guy. She said, “Let’s move to Caventers, wahan milk shake bahut achha milta hai”. I replied, “No probs lets try.” We started moving in the CP Inner circle while gossiping and exploring branded showrooms. Soon we reached that small corner called Caventers, & really, good numbers of people were enjoying their big bottles of milk shake in great flavours. I then bought a Strawberry milkshake & Rashi bought Chocolate milkshake, each for Rs. 25/-. The bottle was really huge as compared to the capacity of our tummies. Still, we finished it full & took a gaaddupp. Now, we were aptly energized to explore CP further. We talked, walked through CP’s busy Inner circle and our one round was complete. Now, where to go, KFC or MC D’s? Both were full. We walked further, n my eyes stopped at Wenger’s. I told Rashi, “I have heard a lot about this Wenger’s but never tried the stuff available at it, so can we move in?” Rashi had no probs and we entered the busy shop with chocolate aroma. Again, good numbers of people were enjoying some or the other chocolate delicacies. One by one we discovered all the pies, caramels, almond cakes, etc and then my eyes stopped at Marshmallow. I heard about marshmallow in a cartoon Oswald. I wanted to try it, coz it looked very different. I asked the bakers man “Excuse me! Can I buy one Marshmallow?” the old man smiled and gave me one baby pink coloured marshmallow & said, take it for free. Me and Rashi exchanged a delighted smile. I took a bite of it and did yyuummmmm. Same was Rashi’s reaction as she took a bite. We felt as if our mission of coming to CP was completed greatly. I and Rashi then had a Veg. Paneer Patty & chicken Baguette respectively. After this great one hour spent together, we said bye-bye. We are not so good friends, but we enjoyed each other’s company by chance! And thus I got a reason to write up this whole incident. :)

TRIP-O-MANIA

I have divided this into 11 parts so that it doesn't goes bore.

The trip: Catch the train

Here I start with my awesome trip’s dastaan. First I would like to tell you that trip was quite special since it was my first trip without family and also for this trip I had to sacrifice my best friend’s birthday celebration :(. I was in so much pressure what to do and what not to do. Initially I was against this trip coz of many things, but later I realized I need to know what’s’ this trip-without-family all about, how do we feel away from home, away from your secured world.
So, I had my train ‘Dhauladar Express’ at 10:10pm on 26th September 2008. My mom was a bit nervous since her princess was moving out alone for the first time. She gave me everything that I might need like we say from pin to plane. With great heart she gave me a bye-bye kiss saying take care of yourself. I too was filled with sentiments, ohh these emotions!
Now begins the journey, I was having a bit of headache that grew more when my friends started singing songs all kinds of songs, old, pop, meaning less, sad, rocking & what not. But, even I was busy singing this, hehe. After all, journey has to be fun-all-the-time. Keeping in mind, I have to take care of myself, I slept by 1 am with friends blasting their throats into my ears. I could not sleep tension free, since today I was my own mother. I got up at 2:30 am and got into gossips with my friends. After that by 3:30 I slept again and got up directly at 6:30 despite of alarm set for 5:30, train was late so it wasn’t a big botheration getting up late. We reached Pathankot around 8 am. Then this hungry group was taken to some nearby hotel called Le Kingsten, one of my friend cracked a PJ saying “Aaj hum pen drive mein breakfast karenge”. From Pathankot we had 7 buses for Dalhousie. It was a long 5-6 hours distance. I swear I cursed those bad roads for giving me back aches. But the amazing thing in this way was a nala near which our bus stopped to enjoy the water fall nala. We ran down the hill to enjoy that dirty water, click good pictures, etc. after 45min around we were scolded to come back since we got ourselves a we-give-you-a-f*** attitude.

The trip: Dalhousie on its heights

Then after a long torture by tacky road n bus we reached Dalhousie heights, our hotel, and nice one. But we had to wait for our luggage that was on the way. After this we struggled to get the keys. My pre-decided room mates at that time ran somewhere and I threw myself in the struggle-for-the-keys session and got room no. 405 & told my room mates its 405, 1st floor, Shivani, said, “ohh shit, 9 (4+0+5) is my unlucky number” huh this girl, almost declared a bad trip. It was a nice room, with a glass on one side, rather than the wall, that gave a view of greenly mountains. All was good in our room. But my room mates didn’t let it be all good soon. Well, leme introduce you to my room mates : Apoorva, bit fat, sensitive, intelligent then, Tanvi, was slim now growing a bit fat, topper of the college & lastly, my so called friend Miss Shivani, same growing big, clever, flirty, dimag wali & whatnot. I, Miss Ayushi, silent, calm, can’t say more about myself, had to adjust a lot between them, whether it be sleeping to the utmost left of the bed or to the utmost right or just smashed in between. They used to make the room a complete shit but me being good at arranging the room got the job for myself and they used to call me “mummy”. This reminds me I missed my mom a lot. Ohh…lets come back. As we threw our bags, we rushed down (Dalhousie Heights Restaurant) to fill our tummies; there was huge variety, rice, roti, papad, raita, 2 vegetables (one of paneer), ma ki dal, salad, soup, gulab jamun. Wow, it seemed great, but not that great when we gave it a try. After all, maa k hathon ka khana pure jahan mein kahin naseeb nahi hota sivaye maa k paas. After this feast we went back to our rooms and Shivani, Tanvi, Apoorva all of them went to deep sleep. As if we went to Dalhousie for great thing- sleeping. I talked to teachers about the programme they also gave me a goli, saying today u can go to market, etc places for shopping and tomorrow you will be taken out. So, I got ready first and woke up everybody to get ready, take the bath and they were like, hum nahi ja rahe..

The trip: Boring time, Tibetan Market

Tanvi and Apoorva left, but I had to then wait for Shivani. Madam came after good bath and we proceeded to the Tibeti market of Dalhousie. On the way Miss Shivani got mingled with fuchhas...They were too boring, madly clicking pictures at an overcrowded place. I was getting bored badly, but the beautiful mountains covered with clouds made me enjoy myself. After a long steep-slope walking we reached the market where we had our group, who couldn’t wait for us as if it was raining heavy snow flakes & they could have got frozen if they stood outside the hotel for 5-7 minutes. Anyway, the undecided group decided to have momos and went to the thinnest market of Dalhousie; it was also a Tibeti market. As we reached there the plan changed, now no momos, went back to the main market and went to the end of the market. I was really getting bored, cause my own friend for whom I waited for too long left me and was busy with a stupid bunch who did not know where to move. At last I found my group with whom I made my documentary film. I then said a bye-bye to that bunch of stupids and checked out all the shops from end to start to buy something for my loved ones. But the market was quite useless. Everything was available in Delhi. So, we decided to move back to hotel as we were required to be inside the hotel by 9 pm. We walked down those empty roads, complete dark, no street lights. I never had this walking before. Singing songs, with a bit of fear in heart, with friends and no one to stop. We reached hotel, got ready for the dinner. My dear Shivani was upset that I reached late than her, she tried to show some care, but, wrong time, when I was feeling alone in the market, I expected her care at that time, anyway, I damn care.

The trip: Masti at night

I had dinner. Went back to my room, wore my night suit and went to my other group (Nidhi, Priyanka, Priyam & Ashima) to say goodnight. But then scene changed, we suddenly got an idea of clicking pictures in the room. I rushed to my room; brought my digi cam n we started off with all kinds of stupid, sassy poses. This half hour masti I will never forget. We jumped on beds, played ring-a-ring-roses, hehe. After that somebody knocked our door, complete silence, pin drop silence. We opened n we found our 2 teachers who just came for attendance and for sending me back to my room since it was 11 pm. I came back to my room, everybody shocked as in from where I am coming, I told them. Then we were set to sleep. Shivani was watching TV, unhe late night tak TV dekhne ki aadat hai. We had a small fight about who will sleep where. I was forced to sleep between Tanvi and Apoorva, while Shivani slept on the arrangement made on the floor. We were not in the mood to sleep so we played raaz kholo, n then Shivani went on to harass Tanvi, we had fun gossiping. Then by 12 we set the mood again to sleep, Shivani watching TV, me, Tanvi, Apoorva on bed. Soon Tanvi was asleep, snorting badly that we couldn’t concentrate on our dreams. Then our nottee minds started their work, we decided to make a movie, one minute movie on snorting, starring Tanvi. It was 1 am, n we were having fun making that movie because meanwhile the snorts stopped and we had to wait till she snorts again. Finally we slept at 2:30 am after completing one minute thing, as we were tired fully and we were required to be ready by 7:30 for breakfast. I had set alarm for 5:30 and the alarm tone was a seeti, it kept on ringing and had no effect on me. At last others woke me up and asked me to shut that ashleel alarm. Tanvi got up at that time and rest of us went back to sleep. After lots of trials Tanvi woke me and told its 6:30 please get up now. I hurriedly got up to be ready for the outing planned today. Soon I made other people get up.

The trip: Mini Swiss & snowy ranges

Today (28th September’08), we were told that since we are going to a place where it might rain or its’ a snowy place so wear woolens. We again showed a we-give-you-a-f*** attitude to our professors. Girls today wore skirts and were scolded too. They forced them to take jeans. Huh! We were going to Mini Swiss; it’s at some place called Khajjiyar, Dalhousie. On the way our bus got punctured. We had fun in this too. We started off clicking pictures. Pictures were still left to be clicked but bus was ready to move again by that time. In few more minutes, we were at our destination, but where’s the snow? No rains? Rather it was a bright sunlight on the simple green clean grass spread all over. A big green patch with green balls rolling over the grass by some ball wallas, in the centre their was a little pond. Soon our excitement about Mini Swiss vanished. Me, Shivani, Sandy (our batch mate) & Ajit (2nd year student) decided to go for trekking to see the snowy mountain range on the other side of Mini Swiss. Sandy & Ajit, being boys warned us, “girls may accompany us at their own risk, if their legs get attacked by bichhoo ghaas, we are not responsible”. We gave them a ohh-come-on-lets walk-now attitude and moved ahead. Soon our heart beats were running damn fast because of mountain climbing activity, so we walked slowly. Within 15 minutes we reached the other side and got the great view. We clicked a few pictures and suddenly the boys planned to climb the mobile tower at the hill, hoof the riskiest part. They, climbed half of the tower and seated themselves their. They were hung over their n we were like “kaminon neeche aa jao..gir gaye to hum to behosh ho jaenge tumhare bhaari shareer ghaseet te ghaseet te”. Then they came down n we moved back as we heard the college bus blow horn. Stepping down was quite easy.

The trip: It was a waterfall

Soon we reached hotel, ready for lunch. After sometime we were required to go to some Samarak and for that no bus. Tanvi n Shivani were in deep sleep and Apoorva left for her photography thing. I had to bear the rest. Shivani went out with her own lovely people n Tanvi came with me to join the group.
All were ready, I moved out with Saurabh and the group (my movie group), and then I was moving with Ashima, my another friend, as others were busy in stupid talks not of my interest. Me n Ashima enjoyed clicking pictures, discussing something good about these hilly areas and many more things. Ashima is one, who will stay with you until n unless u want her to leave. She is caring too. The way to Samarak was covered with clouds and I just wanted to fly rather than walk and touch those clouds and store them in my bag to show it to my people in Delhi. Finally, we reached Samarak. Nothing great with Samarak. But the amazing thing was boating on a hill. It was looking damn beautiful. We walked further and got to know there was a waterfall (people had turned it to a dustbin, sorry Mother Nature), small one if we step up further. The way was much unleveled and I was not wearing my shoes, this got me in trouble, but anyways, I did not know that there is a waterfall to enjoy. We again clicked pictures, funny ones, slipped over each other, had great fun. While coming back, there was a small general store, where I found flavoured milk, I was dying to have milk, and I don’t like tea at all. We bought pakoras, lays and milk. It was a bit dark as we were set to leave from their. We were walking in groups since it was too dark and drunken mad caps were driving almost over us. I took out my torch and showed the way to the group. Well, this group had only me, Ashima & a second year girl, Pearl. In some time we reached the Tibetian market of Dalhousie. We roamed there for sometime, till then our proper group came and we started moving towards hotel, again in complete darkness. I was now walking with my another friend Priyanka Mishra, we exchanged a few emotional talks that revolve around love. Hoof, we were about to reach hotel, but a shop stopped us, where a lady was making key rings & bands of names. We ordered a few and walked to hotel, she promised to deliver them at the hotel only.

The trip: The night masti again + cold wars

As we reached hotel we got to know that there’s an arrangement made by our college people for our monkey-jumping & dancing. We went to our room to just freshen up and come back to dance even though we were tired badly. I also joined the mad circle of dancing; we danced on all kinds of stupid songs, while dancing people punched each other to grab a space, stepped over each other & what not. I was tired in around 20-25 minutes so came back to the hotel gate, where some hot debate was going on between my batch mates about freshers. I joined them to know the hot discussion and got to know about the love make out of our freshers (misuse of huge trees n dark roads). Because of them, the ones who are not into all this were troubled. Even our professors and the director were unhappy n frustrated. Anyway, the dinner was ready, so we headed for it. As the dinner was complete, we moved back to our rooms. In two days there were cold wars amongst each other. Today I was hell lot tired. So, I just wanted to sleep. I told my night-masti-pic friends “kal karenge photo shoto”, they agreed too. All were tired after dancing except for Shivani ji, it was around 11:30pm, n she did not return to the room. I was worried. I waited for sometime, at 12, when I really wanted to sleep, I went downstairs in complete darkness (a bit scared too) to look for her in Barkha’s room, it was at the groundfloor, where we generally can find her, but Barkha said “wo to abhi nikali hai humare room se tumare paas aane ke liye”, I was all-the-more scared now. I called her up n she was with some 2nd year girls. I went to the room, scolded her badly about “its 12:15 and are we mad caps waiting for the princess to come when she wants to come”, she said, “Excuse me”. I asked her again, if she’s coming or should we lock the door n sleep. She said no, n I wished goodnight to all, n went out of the room like a wind. I came back, & told Apoorva the whole thing, & just went to sleep with Tanvi in her deep snorts. But then I got up telling Apoorva, off course we cannot sleep, we’ll have to wait for that kamini, huh she doesn’t even cares about us. We waited till 12:45 am, I forced Apoorva to call her and ask whether she is coming or not and tell her that I am off to sleep and that too on her place (this was to punish her). On call, Shivani acted as if she was shocked to listen that somebody was awake for that brutal piece on Earth. She came back to the room & I slipped in my quilt. She got pissed to see me sleeping at her place. I loved it. Soon I reached my dreams, while Apoorva & Shivani were chatting, gossiping girls u see! Huh!

The trip: Bye bye Dalhousie

We were required to be ready next day (29th September ’08 the b-day), by 8 am maximum for the breakfast thing. As usual Tanvi woke up early, and then I woke up, then the other lazy people. We were ready by 8:30am, again late for breakfast. Others were ready with their luggage etc things & were having breakfast. We too hurried up. The buses were set with blowing horns to keep the luggage in the bus and board the bus. We managed to get good seats for ourselves. We said bye-bye to Dalhousie and headed to Dharmshala + Mcleodganj (under Himachal only). The roads were full of dust and stones, our buses were jumping rather than moving, I just couldn’t concentrate on my sleep. Infact, the bus was not fit for this kind of travel, we cursed the organizers. People grabbed the windows (even my window was snatched from me) to vomit out the breakfast items. They cracked a PJ saying “oye usne 250 gm ki ulti ki, kya baat hai tu to ek litre ulti nikal aya”, et al. I was in bad mood cause of the smell of vomits; one of my mates sprayed a deodorant in the air to avoid it. I kept my calm, since it was my best friend’s bday today. I called him after every hour as my network allowed (since I couldn’t make it to his bday party). After 5-6 hours of caterpillar jumping we reached some hotel, at Mcleodganj. Again I struggled for the keys. We got an ok ok types room. Some people got luxury suits and some had algae enjoying in there rooms. The hotel housekeepers were so careless that they didn’t even know which tap gives out hot water, n is the geyser working or not, etc. anyway, we managed this arrangement n missed Dalhousie heights. The lunch was ready for the hungry people now (they were hungry coz of pouring out huge amounts of vomits). :P we then had rest for sometime in our room. Since the geyser wasn’t working, we ordered 3-4 buckets of hot water for bathing purpose. Today also, there was confusion regarding at what time we are going where. But, lastly we had to move out ourselves and go for shopping. So we did. I was again late coz of Shivani, (god, I want to stop taking care of that kamini, but her back was aching, so I controlled my ego). She then again, left me n went with Sandy. I was left with Tanvi hopping around me. We soon got few people of our batch to accompany us through the dark way. We reached some market after half hour walk. We then started looking for things to buy as stuff was better here than Dalhousie. Actually, we soon realized we wasted our two days at Dalhousie. Later we joined Saurabh & Vandy, as we reached the mid of the market. We were now required at the hotel for dinner & Bon fire. We had Chinese food today, something different, but again made me miss mom. After dinner we headed for bon fire which was at the terrace of the other building of the hotel.

The trip: Night masti at Mcleodganj

As we reached the terrace of the hotel (fourth floor, almost took our breathe), we found people jumping around fire, dancing like drunken people & clicking photos. I too joined few friends of mine for dancing, but my legs did not allow me to dance for more than 20 minutes. After that I called my best friend to wish him bday once again n tell him how much I missed him, n ask him how he celebrated his bday & did he like my surprises which I prepared for him before going to the trip. I felt satisfied to hear that he enjoyed with his friends n family (missed me off course) & loved my surprises, which were not exactly surprises coz he got to know about them before I was out on my trip :(. Anyway, then I dragged my night masti group for clicking pictures in the room. Again, me, Nidhi, Priyanka & Ashima. Priyam did not come coz she was drunk n did not wanted to come. But she came soon to sleep & disturb our masti time. Anyway, we started our photo shoot, (this time we were not in night suit except for Ashima). We made all kinds of proud, fashionable, romantic, bravo; etc poses and enjoyed our photo shoot. We clicked pictures not even in the room but also in the bathroom, standing in tub, etc. same way, the door knocked, complete silence, attendance time, our two teachers entered n asked me to move back to my room, I said bye-bye to my friends n moved to my room, by then (11:30pm), we had done enough masti. I reached my room, n saw, Tanvi (fighting with her bf, on the verge of crying, reason: no network coverage), Shivani (too fighting with her bf, useless reason off course) n Apoorva (struggling with her in a frustrated mood coz of fuchhas’s activities). I was the only happy person in the roomJ. I arranged bed for sleeping. Again I had to sleep b/w Tanvi n Apoorva. Now, Shivani sat b/w them, blocking my way lying on the bed, I then had to fight with them again, to grab my place again. Enjoyed this too. Finally by 1 am, I managed to sleep, setting alarm for 5:30 again.

The trip: Waterfall n Dalai Lama temple

Again Tanvi got up first; she took a bath in a way that the room floor got wet heavily. Instead of bathing in the tub, she bathed outside the tub n the water forgot its limits. As I got up, my socks got wet. I scolded Tanvi, and so everybody did. ;P again we were late to move out, Saurabh n the group left again, leaving me n Tanvi behind. They had gone to the waterfalls of Bhagunagh temple. Today it was our last day of roaming out. I called up Saurabh, asked him the way, n took Tanvi along, soon we reached the waterfall after crossing some risky way, and we finally reached the main place. The waterfall was really great n wonderful. We enjoyed there a lot, took great pics, I was looking like damsel, people told me. :). Then we planned to move to Dalai Lama temple, we had less time today for everything, since we were required to be back at 2pm for lunch n then to say bye-bye to Mcleodganj. For Dalai Lama temple, we had to take an auto. It was a big temple, many monks, nuns, can be seen there. The temple n the idol of Buddha was great, but we were not allowed to go inside the main temple where the idol was placed, it was only for monks.
We took a round of the temple touching the bells, enchanting “OM NAMAH PADME HUM”.
This means “OM NAMAH SHIVAY”. The bells were fixed on the four sides of the main temple. We were required to move them round and say the mantra till a round gets completed and then make a wish, its known that the wish gets fulfilled. I did this too with my friends. After that I did some more shopping, I was madly looking for a small bag in which I could keep my wallet, camera, and my 2 mobiles (one Airtel & other Vodafone), but I did not get it cause the range was quite high and stuff not that worthy. We then hurried to the hotel since it was 2:45pm n were required to be fast, since departure time was 3 pm. As we reached, buses were ready; some people were still having food. So, I got the chance to pack my bags finally, checking everything & then have lunch in extreme speed. Shivani was ready too n was having lunch. Tanvi n Apoorva had left. I did not get the seat in the bus where Shivani was, bloody my year students did not cared to give a preference to the person of the same year, and rather they were happy to be stuck with few second year stupids, I felt unfairness done to me. But more I was worried about my luggage because it was on the top of the bus and people were saying it might :(. I took the mini bus where the entire faculty was sitting and few people of my year but the space was good, I felt good. I took the last seat near the window. Prepared to sleep. Faculty was shouting as few students were still missing & then it rained too (I said sorry to my bags). Our bus stopped near a cemetery to coordinate with other buses. Finally the journey began n I went to sleep. But I couldn’t enjoy my sleep for more than half hour coz then bad road made me jump over my seat and I got severe headache and back ache. Also my ears got blocked as we reached Pathankot, same hotel, Le Kingston. I recalled someone said, “Aaj hum pen drive mein khana khayenge”, n smiled. This time we stopped there for dinner and surprise DJ arrangement.

The trip: Off to Delhi now

I mumbled 2-3 ******** to the organizers for arranging such uncomfortable buses which gave us a tiring journey. I was not happy to see DJ arrangement this time as I was too tired to dance. I was waiting for the dinner now n put my head down on the table. One of my juniors came and asked, “R u alright?” I said, “Yeah, I need to wash off my face and just freshen up”. He told me the way to the bathroom in the garden, since we were not allowed to move inside the hotel (last time we were not ready to come out of the rooms :D). Till I came back, the dinner was ready. The good thing was there was an arrangement for the ones who were having fast (it was first Navratra). But I wasn’t on fast. So I took the regular meal. Soon, the buses were ready again to move to the station. It was very dark again. We reached the station in 20 min. But then we had to wait for our luggage which was in the other bus, (this was always a pain). After 10 min with my luggage I moved towards the platform & took the train. My friends Nidhi, Priyanka, Ashima & Priyam grabbed a good seat n kept seat for me since they wanted me to join them while going back. They helped me get in the train and I took a deep breathe, sneezed, aannchhooo, yeah, I got cold on the last day of my trip. This was coz of dust allergy. We then clicked a few pictures in our sleepy modes. Then we began to chat. Shivani created a hype by asking everybody “Oye tumne Ayushi ko dekha ya nahi, usne train li ya nahi”, somebody ask her where she was when I wanted to sit in the same bus, n when I was waiting for her to take her luggage, n she just came n walked with some stupid people, in a I give-you-a-damn attitude. Anyway, I told Barkha, that I have boarded the train. Priyam, Priyanka & Ashima went to sleep. I was too feeling sleepy, but Nidhi wanted to talk so I went to the middle berth and sat with her. We exchanged few things which we never talked about. After a while, I went to sleep, this time all were sleeping. (No singing of songs). In the morning, soon, seeing the dirt, garbage, nikke nikke bachhe railway tracks pe potty karte hue, n I realized, we have reached Delhi. Welcome to Delhi, same life, same routine, now will be back again. Apni delhi, no mountains, no deep greenery, but was happy to be back to my beloved people.

Apple a day...Glances a day...

Apple a day...Glances a day...
Hm...yup..the line is quite ajeeb..but this pharse, explains a stupid incident, yet a bit funny. My mom, very particular about me, her princess, I should eat properly..have a great diet, nothing should be missing in that..etc etc..so when I was about to leave for my office-mera pyara aajtak..oops dilli aajtak..she popped up a Chinese apple in front of me, saying “ye jarur kha lena..aaj kuch khas diya bhi nahi hai maine lunch mein”, I made a face, since eating at the desk is not allowed and I cannot sit at canteen for a long time..as I take hell lot of time in eating an apple you see! But I respect her care..so kept it in my bag! Whole day passed, I didn’t even touch that apple! In the evening, while going back home, I was feeling guilty that I did not eat it L so I decided to eat in metro..ya I travel by delhi metro..delhi ki jeevan rekha! I know very well..eating n drinking is not allowed on the delhi metro..but which guilt is big..? Metro mein eating eating ya not eating the apple given by lovely cary mom..obviously not eating the apple..! But this got me in great trouble. By chance today, or actually unfortunately, today everybody in the metro was mum, as if they were waiting for khach khach of my apple..huh to them. But I had to eat my apple so I looked here and there, took out my apple and ignoring the pasted sticker that says-“eating & drinking not allowed”, I took my first small bite..Kkhhaaacchhh…moment after this kkhhaaacchhh everybody’s eyes rolled to me from all their evening dreams. I ignored again...Keeping the guilt aside and took another bite..some people just kept their eyes stuck on me and my apple! This was irritating me too. So, I decided to finish my apple within the route of rajiv chowk to kashmere gate. I made my bites bigger and faster, first time in my life, just imagine, but I succeeded. Before it was declared next station is kashmere gate, I kept the remains of apple in polythene in my bag, very hurriedly! The station came and I relieved myself from the burden of not following the rules as now I’ll be separated from the rush that was staring at my every bite.
