Spitters! Pity Delhi!

Imagine a Delhi full of SPITS! Every road, every lane, every corner, just everywhere, Delhi full of spits on the roads and walls (even trees many times become the victims of spitters). Would you like to walk? Or even step out of your house? Imagine, your feet (girls with pedicure done recently), landing up on a layer of spit made by our proud spitters, shit! It will actually look like shit. Why I am talking all this crap is just to make you realize that one day this will be the situation actually if we don’t volunteer on our own and obviously we would never want our Delhi to look like this.
This problem of spitting is majorly in our city only, the capital itself. Just step out of Delhi and see the clean streets of Chandigarh, Shimla, etc. places where people adhere to rules strictly, if not cent percent but 90% at least. When plastic bags were banned their, that was in motion their but not in Delhi. So, why Delhi people are so arrogant to become a little civilized? Why only few areas are clean, not complete Delhi?
Wake up people! Stop rickshawalas, workers (mainly lower class), some rich ones even do that (slowly they pull down their window panes, take out their face a little and spit out the tobacco they had been chewing), youngsters (chewing gum comes under their attitude, attitude is okay, but please be civilized first) and list is huge. When our Delhi is so much developed as compared to the other places in India, then at least keep it NEAT and CLEAN. We all have been a part of some or the other educational institution and even though we had more of bookish knowledge at that time, still we know what problems we are facing, where and why. So, let’s not behave like hooligans and become normal, civilized, educated beings.

What we can do to avoid this rascal-ish spitting –
-Carry something in which you can spit, when you are out of home.
-Wrap chewed gums in some paper, keep it with you & as you find a dustbin (that’s generally on every bus stop now), dump it there itself.
-Make people feel that there spitting is making us vomit (obviously through expressions, don’t vomit & add to the woe).
-I am thinking….you can contribute too.

Where's life moving??

Long time back, actually just two months back I finished up with my graduation. During these few months, when I proved as the most busiest busy bee on Earth, life took a turn. I became grandma of honey bees.lol. Completion of graduation successfully had no impact on people, just because I couldn't clear any of my entrances for my "Masters". Anyway, finding my way out of the taunts, a little bad time, offcourse, struggle time is always difficult to pass through, I managed to settle down myself at this place called "Home Shop 18"(HS18), where I am interning. Mind you, its' an internship, not job, no payment, etc. Also, I joined Masters of Journalism & Mass Communication, weekend degree prog, for my masters to be completed side by side. Now, interning with HS18, creative deptt, is all new experience, courtesy my super-senior. Again I am introduced to a mix of different kinds of people, some are good, some are just okay for a hi-hello, some are weird, some are too-good??this still has to be searched...
In this all busy time, having 5-days working like mads and then 6th & 7th day studying full day..life has become a bit bore, love-life (of all kinds) has taken a back seat, only little parts of fun are coming to me in very very small segments.. :( this wait between the settled job and struggle time is quite pinching and actually frustrating. But, anyways, lets see, how much patience and bearing power God has infused in me!!!! Hoping for good still....

Just a heart pour!!!

God! Help us!

Wo lamhe..wo baatein..koi na jane…..

Being in love becomes difficult and risky enough when a person gets badly dependent on the partner. Always be independent in love, so that tomorrow even if the person walks out of your life or is not with you many-a-times, especially when you need him/her, you don’t feel like a drug addict who is waiting for his/her ecstasy. I wish, the people who still feel alone being with the whole world complete, could really forget their ecstasy. This is the situation that comes without giving a good jolt. Here, you cannot leave the person and move on and at the same time, you cannot even fill up the loneliness gaps given by them. Also, you find pretty useless to fight on these things all over again n again. Then, what to do??? How to fill up these gaps?? I still stand stuck at this question. I tried to fill it up with my understanding power, but it gives up at last, I tried music, work, friends, few useless people too and so on and so fore. But all of these don’t bridge the gap b/w requirements and satisfaction.

So, at this stage, I can only recall that, we are born alone, we gotta live alone and we will die alone only. So, why getting attached to people who are not permanent, rather nothing is permanent, so better not get yourself hurt afterwards. Infact, when we stop expecting, we get something obviously unexpectedly good. Don’t we???
p.s.- the biggest obstacle is that we even wait for that unexpectedly good thing to happen…another expectation…lol.

Ghajini

Ghajini

Yes, the recent bump at the box-office is Ghajini directed by A.R. Murugadoss. This remake of Tamil Ghajini is something I found as a touchy movie. Even though the movie smashes your head with loud actions and violence but the touchy parts are just down to earth. The pure love story shown between Kalpana and Sanjay is just simple yet deep. The part that went touchy was when Sanjay was planning to come back from London and had everything in his mind that he wanted to tell Kalpana but his girlfriend dies without knowing the fact that she was in love with a millionaire. Who caught her heart being the common man, helping her at every end. The songs, again…Prasoon Joshi and A.R. Rahman, blessing for bollywood songs, especially the song, Kaise Mujhe tum Mil Gayi … I love this song. Rest all the songs are good enough. Not to forget, Hai Guzarish, a song with beautiful cinematography and locations.
The funny part in the movie was when Sanjay, after killing all the gundas went blank of the reason cause of which he was beating them after 15 minutes (short term memory loss, quite a funny yet sympathizing disease). Anyway, apart from lolz, Aamir is –“Best Actor and Director”. A must see movie.

P.S-
http://www.oktatabyebye.com/gajodhar/index.html a must see video after you see the movie, humorous one.

Expose d Expos

Hmm...My day out with Vandana Rana, aka Vandy, our new work group member. We went to no special place. There was a Photo Fair at Pragati Maidan, so being Media students; we went there to find some good stuff for our experience. We left our homes to meet at the Pragati Maidan Metro station, “Our real life station”.
Our eyes rolled towards the big banners of Photo Fair. Along with that we could see banners for Auto Mall, LED (Light Emitting Device) Expo and Digital Signage Expo. We registered for entry and soon we were in the ‘Hut’ where passes were to be collected for further entry. We struggled to get our passes and went inside the Hall no.12. The stalls were huge and awesomely designed. The hall was lit up because of the flash lights and number of lights types. The boundary stalls comprised of various effects software, album books, photo frames, lighting and photography equipments like tri-pods, diffusers, soft boxes, cranes, etc, various machinery for making T-shirts, mugs, glasses of your pictures, etc. while, the middle stalls had all brands for cameras like Olympus, Kodak, Sony, Nikon and what not. From smile shutter cameras (just smile and the shutter will catch your smile) to water proof cameras (cameras set under a small showcase kinds waterfall, almost unbelievable). There were photography magazines too with their stalls for monthly n yearly subscriptions with one or the other schemes. In all, the fair was entirely for trade (with marketing gimmicks like models dancing in one-third clothes, Yamaha bikes R1 & R15 to win, etc.). Therefore, we little journo were finding the way to exit. The fair is off course for sale so we obviously could not effort what our hearts desired to buy. But we enjoyed few great clicks by great photographers. Also, the Mumbai Blasts calendar. This was something that stopped our eyes from finding the way to exit. These pictures were so meaningful that we felt happy to get something at least for experience. After this we moved out and headed towards Auto Mall, registered and entered the baby Auto Expo, i.e. Auto Mall. To our surprise was nothing new, all those cars and SUVs we could find on the roads, except for the fact that we had them scratch less to click in good lightning. The car’s brands included Skoda, BMW, Hyundai, Maruti Suzuki, Ford, etc. apart from these new was some mini racing car and Hyundai, i20. Within half hour we were out of Auto Mall and hungry. We headed towards canteen and decided to explore the rest two expos soon after that. After the lunch, we went inside another small hall of LED expo. Again for the purpose of sale, students not allowed, but we are clever enough to know how to make the entry, we got in and came out within 15 minutes since again there was nothing for us to see, but see huge screens throwing harsh light in our eyes. Then we headed to Digital Signage Expo. This again was not for us and all about signages through various LCDs. The amazing and new thing to highlight was the I-Floor, the floor on which we can view the video part that gets played as we move over it. This was just like our eye-food. I made a video of that floor too. Then our tour of Pragati Maidan ended there and we decided to move to Nescafe at ITO. After having magi, brownie and a frappe and clicking few pictures of the new friends we said a bye-bye to each other. So it became anyway a nice outing for both of us. Afterall, velapanti bhi jaruri hai.
